Description
This Formalin spill kit is designed to deal with spills of dilute aqueous solutions of formaldehyde – commonly known as formalin.
Neutralising powder contained in the kit converts formalin into a passive, non-toxic substance. The super absorbent polymer cools down the solution
and reduces formaldehyde concentration and is transformed into an easily removable semi-solid mass. The resulting mass cools rapidly minimising formaldehyde off-gassing.
The conversion from a liquid hazard into an easily managed solidified gel only takes less than 5 minutes. Absorption Capacity ~7L
